Purpose of the role
The Pou Arahi provides intensive support and case management for victims of family harm and violence, working as part of a multi-agency team to develop and implement safe, informed solutions for high-risk and complex situations. You will assess referrals, create safety plans, and coordinate support to ensure the wellbeing of tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau. Fixed Term Role until March 2027.
Ngā tino pūkenga/whēako | Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working with victims/survivors of family violence.
- Sound understanding of family violence response pathways, with a child-focused lens.
- Tertiary qualification in Social Services or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong administrative, organisational, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to kaupapa Māori values and working within Te Ao Māori frameworks.
- Strong digital literacy and confidence with multiple software systems
