· Ngā āhuatanga whakaako: Whakawhenua i te anga marau o Ngāti Whātua ki roto i te marau o te kura tonu. Te whakatō hoki i te whakaaro, ko te akomanga te rohe ka whakaritea e te pouako mō ngā uri ahakoa kia hea tū ai.
· Kia angitu te ākonga: Mahi tahi me te uri, te whānau, te iwi, ngā kaimahi, ki te whakarite i ngā wawata, ngā manako, e eke ai ngā uri ki tua, ki ngā taumata kairangi ka tika
· Te Whānau: Te whanake i te whanaungatanga i waenga i te whānau me te kura, e rongo i te hononga marika o te whānau ki te kura, te hiranga nui hoki o te whānau ki te tupu o te kura me ngā uri.
· Te Kairangi o te reo: Ko koe te tauira o te reo kia tika, kia rere, kia Māori.
· Auahatia ngā akoranga: Me kaha tō rāpu, tō tautoko i ētahi auahatanga ako, e eke ngā akoranga, te toiora, ngā whēako o ngā uri ki taumata kē. Me whakaū tō aro nui ki te ākengokengo, to āro nui ki ngā manako o ngā uri.

· Learning Design and Delivery: Deliver a vibrant curriculum grounded in Ngāti Whātua Ōrākeitanga , Ngāti Whātua Whānuitanga, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei kaupapa and EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom); driving learning from the whenua and taiao while delivering classroom teaching that models Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei identity and excellence.
Ākonga Success: Manage ākonga behaviour positively to uphold mana and hauora, using data driven insights to relentlessly improve individual achievement and growth.
Whānau and Iwi Engagement: Build authentic relationships with whānau and participate in iwi led initiatives to ensure learning extends beyond the school gates.
Te Reo Māori Excellence: Role model te reo Māori me ngā tikanga as the primary modes of engagement - ensuring Ngāti Whātua Ōrākeitanga is lived daily

You are a registered teacher who:
Matatau ki te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, Mātauranga Māori, e āhei hoki te arahi i roto i aua horopaki.
Is an expert in Māori Medium pedagogy with a deep understanding of holistic ākonga development.
Is supportive of the idea, that a teacher facilitates learning and learning happens anywhere. (This includes EOTC, learning in and outside of the traditional classroom).
Is a collaborative team player who values professional integrity and confidentiality.
Has an understanding or is open to building an understanding and appreciation of Ngāti Whātua Ōrākeitanga, Ngāti Whātua Whānuitanga and Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei aspirations. Is digitally confident and open to emerging technologies, using digital tools and new ways of learning and teaching to enhance engagement, creativity, and ākonga success.
